Chapter 30
C30 – A Huge Surprise Descended“What is Jiang Que up to?”
“He appears to be re-engraving a copy of the Chaos Spell along with the Method Circulating Scroll.”
“But the thing is, the Chaos Spell that was etched into the wall two months ago is still perfectly visible!”
“Plus, given his character, he surely wouldn’t want to squander time on such trivialities. He would have delegated this task to the clansmen.”
Viewers in the live stream were utterly bewildered.
Having recently dealt with a significant letdown, they couldn’t bring themselves to even consider an improved version of the Chaos Spell.
It was a matter of self-preservation.
Once burned by profound disappointment, they were hesitant to harbor any hope, fearing a repeat of their previous heartache.
Yet, as time marched on, it became clear that while the newly inscribed Chaos Spell on the stone wall bore a strong resemblance to the original, there were notable discrepancies.
Moreover, the freshly carved incantation was decidedly more intricate and elusive.
A hunch began to form in the back of everyone’s mind, but no one dared to entertain it further.
They each struggled to quell the notion, avoiding wild speculation.
Once Jiang Que finished inscribing the incantation, he proceeded to etch the enhanced version of the Chaos Spell’s Method Circulating Scroll.
This too was strikingly similar to its predecessor, except for an additional meridian for the Spirit Power to traverse and an increase to sixteen accessible acupoints.
The tension was palpable among the viewers, their breaths quickening with anxiety.
The thought they were trying to suppress was now irrepressible.
“I’ve got a daring theory,” someone blurted out in the chat.
“I’m harboring a bold notion too, but I’m doing my best to keep it at bay.”
“I’d trade ten years of
In the valley, Jiang Que had begun to instruct Pann Qiu and others in the nuances of the improved Chaos Spell.
In theory, since Pann Qiu had previous experience with the Chaos Spell, mastering the improved version should have been somewhat easier.
However, despite the improved Chaos Spell being largely similar to the original, the modifications introduced complexities that were both profound and enigmatic.
As a result, Pann Qiu and the rest were bewildered.
Jiang Que had to painstakingly explain each concept, sentence by sentence, and even use examples to help them gradually grasp the full depth of the method.
The improved Chaos Spell, with just a few dozen additional phrases, required Jiang Que to spend six or seven hours to ensure that Pann Qiu and the others fully comprehended it.
Once Pann Qiu and a few other top-ranked talents were able to officially practice the improved Chaos Spell, Jiang Que breathed a sigh of relief, concluding the second teaching session.
He made his way back to the cabin.
After a two-month hiatus, he could finally dedicate himself to his cultivation.
With nothing left to distract him before the onset of spring, he could afford to wait.
Once spring arrived, he planned to expand his domain on a grand scale.
Meanwhile, he intended to find out if he could gather enough ore to craft a weapon.
Once he had the materials, he would be able to delve into developing an attack-oriented cultivation method far superior to the Flying Blade Spell, significantly enhancing both his own prowess and that of his clansmen.
He settled into a cross-legged position on the wooden bed.
As the Spirit Power flowed through his meridians, the Spiritual Energy within a ten-meter radius appeared to be drawn by an unseen force, converging towards him.
