Chapter 3553 Interstellar Storm (Part )
Helen was stunned, and so was Hale.
But Helen woke up faster, and while Hale was still not able to react, she flew to the other side of the sun at the fastest speed, and soon found Bruce to pick her up. The two of them flew to the other side of the sun together.
Haier still stood there blankly, as if he couldn't believe what he saw.
But just when he was trying to free his mind from his memories, reality hit him on the head like a heavy hammer.
A figure flew out from Krypton.
Haier was hit hard again.
His lips moved, and a syllable full of complex emotions came out, but it disappeared in the noise of the universe. No one else heard it except himself.
"dad……"
Half an hour ago, two extremely small figures stood in front of the huge machine. Clark took out the box he found in his home.
"Oh my God, this is the Medal of Outstanding Scientist. I knew Uncle Joe had one, and it turns out Aunt Laura has one too." Kara said as she looked at the things in the box.
"This is the currency on Krypton." Kara picked up a few coins next to her and said, "This side has the amount of money printed on it. This is a dollar, and this is a five dollar. The other side has the symbol of the Supreme Council. It doesn't look very good, right?"
"This thing... This is a portable storage device. But it doesn't look like a civilian version. It might be something Uncle Joe brought back from the laboratory. He should have stored something in it."
"Let's see," Clark said.
He picked up the little storage unit. Kara found the socket on the side of the machine. He said, "Here. Just put this thing in this."
Clark walked over and put the memory device into the socket. A blue light flashed, and a holographic projection popped up above the machine. Clark stood there in shock.
"Hi, little Carl. I'm glad to be able to talk to you in this way." The man in the holographic projection smiled and said, "Maybe you don't know yet. I am your biological father, Joe-El. This is your mother, Laura."
Clark knew who they were, of course, but to his surprise, the man in the holographic projection looked very much like him. They were cut from the same mold.
"The letter I asked your companion to write was a little brief. You must still have a lot of doubts, but it doesn't matter. I can tell you now."
"The Kryptonians of the previous era knew that stellar radiation was always a big problem for them, whether they could draw power from the stars or die from the stars' decay. Our evolutionary path bears most of the responsibility, but are the stars completely innocent?"
"For this reason, they have never given up the dream of finding a perfect star. So the question is, what is the best way to move?"
"You'd think it would be easy enough to just load all the furniture onto a spaceship and take it to a new home. But no, Carl. They figured out a much easier way - just move the house."
"As early as the Kryptonian era, the El family had already developed a superluminal engine. This is the basis for two generations of civilization to travel freely in the starry sea. However, superluminal engines also have different levels. The engine used on the Kryptonian spacecraft is just a civilian version, and its energy consumption and propulsion are very average."
"If you want to move your entire house, you naturally need an engine with greater power. Thanks to the efforts of the Aiel family spanning two civilizations and hundreds of generations, we did it."
"God Rao gave us a seed, and we let it flourish and eventually bear fruit. What you see before you now is a true planetary-level hypersonic engine. It can directly allow the entire Krypton to jump."
"The key you got in my laboratory is used to start this big guy. For safety reasons, only the bloodline of the El family can operate the planetary engine."
"Come on, my little Carl." Joe-El and Laura both laughed. El said in an excited voice, "There is no time to be sad. You will be the operator and witness of this miraculous journey. Let's start a real interstellar sprint together!"
With a "sizzle", the holographic projection disappeared. Clark looked down at the key in his hand, and the red liquid was flowing slowly. Clark seemed to see Jor-El concentrating on making the key in front of the laboratory table.
"I found it." Kara said from the other side of the control panel, "This seems to be where the key is. But..."
Clark walked over. There was a cylindrical table with a threaded keyhole on it, which matched the key in his hand.
But Clark didn't rush to put the key in. He looked up again and took in the surroundings.
On the opposite side, he saw a door, so he walked over and slowly pushed the door open as if he had sensed something.
A small office with only a table, a bench and a lamp overhead.
Clark walked in and saw a set of clothes neatly folded without any wrinkles on the table.
Kara followed him in, and when she saw the clothes, something suddenly occurred to her.
"This is the ceremonial dress," Kara said. "The Medal of Excellence is the highest honor that every Kryptonian can receive. Your biological father is the youngest recipient of the Medal of Excellence. When he put on this suit, he should have been about the same age as you."
Clark gently lifted the clothes.
He recognized the suit because in the family photo, Jor-El had been wearing it, looking straight and handsome.
"Maybe you can wear it." Kara smiled and said, "No one can give you an award anymore, but you can give yourself one."
Clark thought about the message Schiller had sent him not long ago, and about his own face that resembled the young Jor-El.
This may be fate, but it seems more like Al has planned everything long ago - a pair of brothers, a new home, a new sun.
Clark changed into a dress. This dress looked a bit like the British military uniform on Earth, with a straight cut, sharp shoulders, a stand-up collar that made him look very energetic, and the cuffs were cut with a somewhat gentle temperament.
"Suits you very well," Kara commented.
"Then let me give myself an award for best driver." Clark smiled as he walked towards the keyhole.
He slowly put the key in his hand, and when he finally pressed it down, a tiny needle on the nail pierced the skin of Clark's hand. Blood flowed into the heart in the center, mixed with the red liquid, and emitted a faint light.
With a "click", the tail of the key touched the bottom. A buzzing sound was generated along with the energy, and the ends of Clark's hair were blown back.
"Come on--" Clark said, "welcome our new Mercury!"
In the vast universe, this long-silent and lifeless planet is like a seed buried deep in the soil. It finally sprouted today, broke out of the ground with joy, and rushed towards another world.
The moment the planetary jump engine was activated, the planet left a red and blue afterimage. Everything around it was pulled by the change in gravity and began to tremble slightly.
There is no violent burning, no strong roar. When the speed exceeds the speed of light, time is no longer a problem. Everything in the universe comes and goes instantly, without even leaving a cloud.
This interstellar hurricane ended the moment it began. The entire Krypton planet jumped directly into the solar system and stopped at the original location of Mercury.
Clark knew what he was going to face next, but he was not afraid. He slowly flew up from Krypton and floated opposite Hale.
The moment he saw him, Haier's pupils shrank to the extreme. His mind was shaken so much that he could hardly control himself.
Charles, who followed Helen, caught the fleeting flaw.
He seized the opportunity, and his brain waves shot like an arrow, piercing into Haier's spiritual world.
"Well!!!!!!!"
Hale let out a scream of great pain. Charles' brain wave was instantly erased, but Hale's brain finally stopped working after a long period of confusion and a sudden violent fluctuation.
He slowly fell towards Krypton, and Clark caught him.
At this time, another figure appeared above Krypton. Martian Manhunter Ron arrived as planned, waved at Clark and said, "Quick, find a place to put him down!"
Clark landed on the surface of Krypton with the briefly unconscious Hale, landing on the roof of a building. The Martian Manhunter came to his side.
He narrowed his eyes, focused his attention, and began to read Hale's memory. Without the protection of his mind, Hale's super brain could not protect him from the power of a psychic like Martian Manhunter. Everything in the spiritual world was revealed.
Ron's expression changed several times, first shock, disbelief and anger, then relief, but then he frowned again and finally sighed.
"How's it going?" Clark asked him.
"Our guess is correct," Ron said. "Someone told him that it was General Zod who bribed a worker to tamper with the genes of all Kryptonians and destroy the Kryptonian civilization in order to retaliate against the Congress."
"Is he here to see Zod?"
"Yes, he found the identification signal of Zod's spaceship and followed the signal all the way to the solar system."
"Who told him?"
"The other party claimed to be an artificial intelligence butler created by his father."
Martian Manhunter slowly stood up and walked to the edge of the building. After looking around, he looked up at the sky and slowly called out the name - "Brainiac."
