Chapter 3786 The School Doctor's "Daily Life" (Part 1)
The school hospital of Iphamoni Magic School is located on the second floor of the school, occupying almost the entire east side of the second floor. It has four wards, two examination rooms, two consultation rooms and a doctor's office, and can be described as fully equipped.
The school hospital's decor is consistent with the overall school style, which is a very luxurious medieval mysterious Gothic castle style, or simply "arrogant and cheerful style".
To say whether Greed liked this style or not—if magic didn't exist, he would absolutely never have decorated his office like this. The maintenance and cleaning alone would cost a fortune, and even then, it might not be completely clean. Some natural materials decompose very quickly, requiring renovations every few years. This wasn't building himself an office; it was giving himself a living father. Even without his money, he wouldn't have done it this way.
However, thanks to the magic, maintenance and cleaning were no problem at all, requiring no effort from Schiller. With the office spotless and tidy every day, he was much more accepting of the style.
When Schiller moved into his office, he specifically invited Wanda and Jarvis along, so that he wouldn't have to move anything or tidy up. Professor Wanda, who was enthusiastic about housework, would keep the place in perfect order.
Because he had to prepare for welcoming the new students, Schiller didn't go to his office immediately. By the time he finished setting up the auditorium and returned, everything was already packed up.
As he pushed open the crystal door, engraved with intricate constellation patterns, a beautiful Gothic-style office appeared before him. The room was predominantly dark brown, and the freshly waxed floor gleamed.
The office has two floors. The first floor is divided into three areas by supporting decorative columns: there are pointed floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides, and a huge desk in the center with a row of bookshelves behind it; the right side is a reception area with sofas; and the left side is a decorative area with all sorts of strange magical items.
There are spiral staircases leading up to the central area on both sides. The second-floor corridor is directly above the central area, with three doors above it: the left door leads to the archives, the right door to a private meeting room, and the middle door to a bedroom for rest.
A huge magical chandelier hung from the ceiling, made up of more than 200 candles. Its frame was shimmering with golden mithril and inlaid with many magical gems. The lights of various constellations and celestial bodies flickered continuously, interspersed with dazzling meteor showers.
The decorative area was overflowing with items: a magic globe that would spin on its own, quill pens floating in mid-air, magic books that would occasionally open and close, various crystal statues, and trinkets that Schiller had collected before. Although the items were piled up somewhat haphazardly, they effectively neutralized the serious and somber atmosphere of the dark brown wood.
Schiller's office, though larger than others, was actually quite simply furnished. Strange's headmaster's office was several times more luxurious than the Sanctum Sanctorum, filled with all sorts of magical treasures. Even someone completely ignorant of magic would be utterly awestruck upon entering.
The offices of ordinary professors like Wanda are similar, extremely luxurious, and full of magical atmosphere, all to showcase the power of their universe to students from various multiverses.
As the most important venue, the grand auditorium was naturally far from shabby. Even after the film's release, it underwent further adjustments based on the opinions of many professional film critics and interior designers, and is now the epitome of human magnificence.
Even so, they still renovated and decorated the auditorium before the new students enrolled, making it look more solemn and dignified.
The professors were also very particular about their attire, each wearing a magnificent mage robe. The material was Chinese silk, which was the Ancient One's favorite, and the patterns and designs on them were embroidered with magical threads. They not only shimmered with various kinds of gorgeous light, but the patterns could also change at will, making them very beautiful.
Of course, many professors also wear the stereotypical wizard hat—the kind with a pointed tip, carrying all sorts of wands, walking with a swagger, their clothes fluttering, more magical than magic itself.
On the first day of school, most professors chose rather subdued colors for their attire: Strange wore a dark green robe, Wanda a deep red, and Schiller a deep blue, almost sapphire blue. However, since he wasn't a professor, he didn't wear his pointed hat.
The Batmen were brought here by Lucifer, landing over Massachusetts and arriving directly at the entrance of the school's main hall. Looking at the imposing castle, the Batman from the Grand Adventure Universe shook his head and exclaimed, "That's quite a grand affair."
Lego Batman stood on his shoulder, his eyes sparkling with more and more stars. In his imagination, he was already dressed in a wizard's robe, wearing a pointed hat, wielding a staff, and fighting a dragon for three hundred rounds.
This was Lucifer's first time here. He was the kind of person who loved to join in the fun, and he agreed to help Schiller transport people because Schiller had promised to let him be a professor for a while.
Of course, this was before he learned that Batman was coming to school. If he had known that Schiller was really crazy enough to bring so many Batmen to school, including Bruce, who gave Michael and Uriel a lot of headaches, he would have definitely run away in a heartbeat.
But since he had already agreed, he had no choice but to bite the bullet and go for it. Lucifer looked down at his sorcerer's robes and comforted himself, telling himself that he was just a visiting professor, and no matter how much trouble Batman caused, it wasn't his fault.
"Alright." He stopped at the entrance of the auditorium and said, "Everyone, form four lines, from lowest to highest grade. Check your appearance; the sorting ceremony is about to begin."
This year's student body is quite large, with nearly a thousand students of all ages. Actually, there aren't many children, because after the spiritual resurgence, many adults discovered their magical talents, such as Gwen; they are the main force of this year's freshmen. Therefore, Batman, who is also an adult, doesn't seem particularly out of place among them.
Just as the script had been rehearsed, Lucifer waved his hand and had everyone change into school uniforms. The uniforms were also mage robes, currently all black, but they would change to different colors after the house selection, and then everyone would receive their respective house's mage hats.
"Which house do you think you'll be sorted into?" Lego Batman touched Batman's ear and said, "I think I'll definitely be sorted into the strongest one and become a renowned great wizard."
"Which academy do you think is the strongest?" Batman the Adventurer countered.
"Uh... what kind of colleges are there again?"
"Mercury (Mercury), Venus (Venus), Saturn (Saturn), and Neptune (Neptune)."
"……what?"
The adventurous Batman said somewhat helplessly, "If you can't remember the names, just remember the colors: gold, white, brown, and blue. They correspond to the business school, arts and literature school, engineering school, and... athletic school? Or should I say combat school?"
"Then of course I'm from the Battle Academy!" LEGO Batman struck a boxing pose, followed by a spinning kick, and confidently patted his chest, saying, "I'll wield my staff and knock down all those monsters that dare to invade Earth!"
The Great Adventure Batman smiled. The LEGO Batman asked him, "Which academy do you most want to go to?" Then, a little nervously, he added, "You don't want to go to the Battle Academy too, do you? I think... I think sometimes it's unnecessary to fight and kill..."
“I’d prefer to go to the College of Arts and Literature,” Batman answered truthfully. “I don’t expect to actually learn magic. I’d rather delve into the principles of magic in this universe and acquire some genuine knowledge of mysticism, which should also be relevant to the magical theories of my universe.”
“That’s so boring,” said Lego Batman, scoffing. “Studying those profound tomes all day long is incredibly tedious. When you go back and your Robin asks you, ‘How’s your magic coming along?’ are you going to tell them you’ve been spending all your time in the library?”
“You’re right,” said Batman the Adventurer. “But being assigned to a school doesn’t mean that’s all you can do. I won’t refuse if you want to learn how to fight.”
Night Owl stood with Bruce. As they entered the auditorium, he whispered, "You're still hanging out with that boring, old-fashioned guy?"
Bruce glanced at him and said, "Are you talking about yourself?"
"I'm talking about that Batman who looks most like Batman. Haven't you been spending time with him lately?"
“You know best who he’s been hanging out with lately,” Bruce smiled at him and said. “Which college do you want to go to?”
"Saturn Academy. What about you? Do you like Neptune?"
"Perhaps I would choose Mercury or Venus?"
Night Owl wasn't entirely convinced. He glanced at the main universe Batman standing next to Arkham Batman and said, "I bet they'll both choose Neptune. Who wouldn't want to learn how to fight with magic?"
"Are you worried that the two of them will compete with you? But there doesn't seem to be a rule about the number of students allowed in the academy, does it?"
"I want to avoid those two. Do you know how the house sorting works?"
“I don’t know,” Bruce said, straightening his mage robes. “You’re not really planning to attend classes properly, are you? Opportunities to travel freely through another universe without the restrictions of the Battle Realm are rare.”
Night Owl's eyes flickered as he said, "You want to run away? The Sorcerer Supreme won't allow it. We can't beat him unless you have connections."
“I do,” Bruce didn’t deny it. “But if you think he’ll bail me out, you’re mistaken. He’s probably the last person who wants us to run around.”
Night Owl gave a soft hum and said nothing more. The main universe Batman and Arkham Batman were also talking in hushed tones nearby.
“That guy’s hanging out with Night Owl again,” Arkham Batman said. “I have a feeling he’s up to no good.”
“He’s always more sinister than you think. But if he’s targeting Night Owl, that’s a good thing for us.”
"Are you really planning to study here?" Arkham Batman asked again.
“We’d better keep our guard up until we have a way to deal with the Sorcerer Supreme,” said the main universe Batman. “I once shared a body with someone in this universe. Stephen Strange is a tough guy to deal with; it’s hard to get away with anything under his nose.”
"It's difficult, which means there's still a chance?"
"Let's go in first and then talk."
