Chapter 3969 MU Superbody Major Event (49)

Chapter 4006 The MU Superbody Incident (49)

Earth-3, a universe where good and evil are reversed. In this universe, Batman is the evil Night Owl, Superman is the sun-fearing Superman, Wonder Woman is the tyrannical Super Queen, the Joker is a righteous policeman, and Lex Luthor is a true superhero. In short, the good and evil of most named villains have been completely reversed.

The strength of this universe is actually quite average. If we use the main universe as a benchmark, they are probably a level below. The villain corresponding to Green Lantern in this universe, the Divine Ring, was defeated and killed by Sinestro from the New 52's main universe. This demonstrates the difference in the strength of different universes.

However, this doesn't mean they're helpless when facing heroes from other universes. On the contrary, because they are evil enough, they might actually be able to exert some restraint on the heroes.

For example, Superman is naturally drawn to Kryptonite. Something that Supermen from other universes wouldn't dare touch, he can not only carry with him but also use to enhance his strength, making other Supermen keep their distance. Then there's Supergirl's Lasso of Submission, which corresponds to Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth, but it can inflict extreme pain on the bound person, forcing them into submission.

Speaking of Superwoman, I've certainly heard of her. However, the legend surrounding this woman in Wonder Woman has nothing to do with good or evil; it's that Superwoman is Superpower's wife, but also Nite Owl's lover, and the mother of Lex Luthor's child.

Never mind whether she's good or bad, my sister is really enjoying her meal.

However, the fact that she could handle all three of them proves that this woman is no ordinary person, and may even be the hidden mastermind behind the Earth-3 Crime Syndicate. Even Diana wasn't entirely confident in facing her.

Wonder Woman and Diana from the main universe hurriedly arrived at Earth-3, where Nite Owl resides. Just as Wonder Woman was about to cause trouble for Injustice Superman, Diana stopped her:

"No, sister, if we just rush over there recklessly, we'll easily fall into their trap. Those are two evil Supermen and an evil Batman. Are you sure you can beat them?"

Wonder Woman wasn't completely blinded by her emotions. She took a deep breath and said, "That's precisely why we need to get there quickly. We can't let them come up with any more evil plans to harm the universe."

“I know, but we can choose to outsmart him,” Diana said. “Let’s go to Gotham and find the Joker first, and then contact Lex Luthor in this universe. With their help, we’ll have a better chance of taking down the evil Superman, won’t we?”

The main universe's Wonder Woman couldn't help but shudder. She said, "My God, I never imagined that one day we would be working with the Joker and Lex Luthor."

"There's nothing we can do; this is a universe where good and evil are reversed. But I heard from Batman that the Joker is a good guy, so we don't need to be prejudiced against him because of the evil deeds of the Joker in other universes."

“Okay, you’re right,” said Wonder Woman from the main universe. “Let’s go find the Joker first. He should know a lot about the evil Batman in this universe. If we can hold him off, we can teach that damn Injustice Superman a lesson.”

The Injustice Superman they were talking about seemed distracted. He glanced at the Queen's admiring gaze, clenched his fist in frustration, and patiently said, "We don't know much about magic, so we really can't break the curse. Although we can try to help you find Night Owl, Batmen are very cunning, and whether we can find him is unknown."

"You're much calmer than I expected." The stunning Superwoman leaned back on the sofa, her fingers lightly touching her chin, exuding a captivating charm that few other Wonder Women possessed.

Injustice Superman was absolutely furious. Ever since he arrived, this woman had been trying to seduce him, even going so far as to claim that she would "only give birth to the offspring of the strongest." Injustice Superman was especially annoyed when he found out she had a child with Lex Luthor—why did she have to choose Luthor of all people?

Lord Superman was happy to see Injustice Superman get his comeuppance, but they were there on serious business. He cleared his throat and said, “We completely understand your concerns, madam. However, you never know what might happen with dark magic curses. Your husband might die in the next second, or he might recover on his own soon. My suggestion is: we'll stay here and take care of him while you go and bring the culprit, Night Owl, back. After all, you're from the same universe; you know him better. Didn't you almost catch him last time?”

Queen Super shook her head and said, "It's not that simple. He still has a few helpers in the multiverse. Even though my informants keep telling me his location, it's still a bit troublesome to catch him."

Lord Superman raised an eyebrow. He had a good relationship with his Batman; in fact, his Batman was probably the only Batman willing to share intelligence with him. He could obtain some internal information about the Batman Organization through Lord Batman.

The news included the following: Night Owl's situation is not good. His poor performance at magic school caused him to lose a group of followers; after returning, his prolonged silence caused another group of opportunists to leave as well.

I thought he was doomed, but I didn't expect that there were still three thousand nails on the broken ship. He actually had a trick up his sleeve. He was able to escape death in such a critical situation, which is really not to be underestimated.

Both of the Supermen present were super-intelligent, so they both focused on one question: Who saved Nite Owl?

Super Queen, of course, understood what they wanted to ask, but she still shook her head and said, "To be honest, I don't know. But I'm sure he's left our universe. My informant... well, there's no need to hide anything now. It was Ultron who helped me hunt down Night Owl. I saw that name in the girls' chat group, that's what you call him, right?"

The two Supermen exchanged a glance and then nodded. Night Owl's universe was relatively close to the center, and Night Owl was a prominent figure among Batmen. Although Supergirl was completely different from Wonder Woman and the others, it wasn't surprising that she could obtain information about Ultron.

“Ultron told me he was no longer in this universe, and he happened to have recorded the scene of Nite Owl being taken away. Although he had the footage, there were no useful clues, and I don’t know which universe he was taken to.”

"Can you show us the video?"

Supergirl tossed them a tablet. Injustice Superman turned it on and found the video was extremely short, only three seconds long. He only saw a flash of blue light, and then the fallen owl vanished without a trace. There was simply no way to determine its identity.

Even on Earth, there are quite a few superheroes who use blue light, and many of Batman's technological devices exhibit a blue teleportation effect, not to mention things like the Blue Lantern and the Blue Beetle.

Injustice Superman frowned and said, "Are you sure he's the only one who can break the curse on Superman?"

“It’s a very powerful form of dark magic,” the Super Queen said, her tone becoming more serious. “It’s extremely complex and obscure, the result of Night Owl’s dedication to studying magic. None of the magicians I’ve been able to contact have been able to decipher it.”

Injustice Superman was also somewhat undecided. The reason was that although he, Lord Superman, and Superpowered could seemingly form an evil superhero alliance, in reality, only Superpowered was truly evil in this alliance. He and Lord Superman couldn't actually be considered evil superheroes.

If that's the case, what's the point of forming this alliance? Just so two people can outmaneuver one?

As Injustice Superman was pondering, he suddenly received a message from the Battle Realm. It was from Clark:

"Dude, what did you do? Why are the Wonder Women coming after you in such a rage?"

Injustice Superman was stunned. He replied with a question mark. Clark seemed to be checking something else, and only replied several seconds later: "My God, your universe's Wonder Woman is dead? You killed her while Batman was away?!"

"What?!" Injustice Superman jumped up from the sofa. "Wonder Woman is dead?! How did she die?!"

"Didn't you kill him? It's all over Wonder Woman, and they've even issued an obituary."

Clark's message ended with a reposted message. Injustice Superman clicked on it and found a moving obituary, complete with a video of the death scene—the laser beam was clearly left by Superman.

Injustice Superman is utterly speechless. He didn't kill Wonder Woman! He didn't do it!

It's important to know that when he was fighting against the injustice of Batman, Wonder Woman stood firmly by his side. They were teammates for a long time, and even after Wonder Woman went insane, he never considered killing her.

Injustice Superman really wanted to scratch his head. His super brain was spinning at an unprecedented speed, and then he realized one thing: once he agreed to play the mind control role for Injustice Batman, there was no turning back.

He will undoubtedly become the most evil Superman in the entire multiverse, the leader of all evil Supermen, and their benchmark and role model. After all, no one else has been able to accomplish the feat of mind-controlling Batman; only he has.

That means any accusation can be leveled against him. Even if there were no such clear laser marks at the scene, he's still the prime suspect—after all, if he's capable of mind-controlling Batman, what else wouldn't he be capable of?

Moreover, in the multiverse, neither Batman nor Superman would listen to his explanation. He killed Wonder Woman, or rather, he killed her.

But Injustice Superman doesn't care about any of that. His biggest worry right now is: Will Injustice Batman also think he killed Wonder Woman?

While this is clearly a frame-up, Injustice has a history of wrongdoing. Even though he and Wonder Woman were teammates before, Injustice is known for indiscriminately killing innocent people. With his violent rule over the Earth, hundreds, if not thousands, of innocent people have died at his hands; one more Wonder Woman wouldn't make a difference.

Injustice Superman was truly going crazy. He knew things couldn't continue like this. If he really became the leader of Evil Superman, he would face immense pressure to survive, just like Nite Owl now. One wrong move and everything would be lost; one wrong step and he would die. So what should he do?

Seeing that clearing his name was impossible, Injustice realized that he had to find a way to go from being the main culprit to an accomplice, or at least shift the Justice Supermen's firepower onto someone else, or he would be killed sooner or later.

Injustice Superman couldn't help but turn to look at the room where Superman was. The only way forward was to rescue this real evil Superman, make him the leader of the evil Superman faction, and let him take the combined beatings of Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman. Only then could he extricate himself and live peacefully.
