Chapter 304 Send You Flowers
Chapter 304 Send You Flowers
Fifteen minutes later
Cheng Zhian brought a lot of things into the store.
Li Shuchen and Ye Bingli stepped forward to take it.
"You brought so much stuff; you're probably going to empty the entire manor's inventory, aren't you?"
Cheng Zhi'an put down his things and said, "I have plenty in my residence, enough for the flower shop."
Li Shuchen looked at the strips of cloth of different colors and materials mixed among the calligraphy and paintings with surprise: "Why are there ribbons too? Did you go to the Flower Garment Pavilion?"
Cheng Zhian smiled and said, "I just picked up some on the way. They're just scraps, I'm glad you don't mind."
Ye Bingli remained silent. Young Master Cheng was blatantly lying; Huashang Pavilion wasn't even on the way, it was a detour. Unfortunately, Shu Chen had no sense of direction and would never notice.
As expected, Li Shuchen replied, "It's on my way! That's great, no problem at all. The flower shop needs some right now, thank you!"
"I've replied. Wishing the flower shop booming business."
Cheng Zhian turned to leave, but Li Shuchen grabbed his sleeve.
"Wait a minute, I have a gift for you. Please wait a moment; it won't take up much of your time."
Cheng Zhian turned around in surprise upon hearing this.
Li Shuchen quickly picked out a strip of pure white cotton cloth, turned around, and tied the bouquet in the vase.
I then selected a beautiful calligraphy template and a painting, laid them on the table, shook the water off the stems of the bouquet, placed them on top, and then used another beautiful calligraphy template to completely surround the bouquet. Finally, I chose a strip of blue transparent gauze and tied it into a pretty bow.
The young woman held a large bouquet of blue flowers in her arms and smiled as she handed it to the young man opposite her.
"This is for you, a little something to mark our first meeting."
Cheng Zhi'an took the bouquet in a daze, then looked at it and smiled broadly.
Li Shuchen was also stunned, muttering, "You look like a kind of food."
Cheng Zhian: "What food?"
"Cucumber-flavored potato chips, you're already handsome, and holding this flower makes you look even more refreshing and clean. You'd definitely charm any girl on the street. Why didn't you grow up on me?"
Li Shuchen scratched his head in frustration.
Cheng Zhian smiled and said, "Shu Chen's looks are most suitable for him. I'm leaving now, thank you."
Li Shuchen raised her head slightly: "Don't mention it, bye-bye."
"Goodbye"
Cheng Zhi'an turned and left the store, just as Liang Yuying entered. The two equally handsome men greeted each other and then walked in opposite directions.
Ye Bingli: "Yu Ying is here, please have a seat."
Liang Yuying found a seat a little distance away from Li Shuchen and forced herself not to look at her: "How's Bingli's business?"
Ye Bingli: "It's alright."
Li Shuchen silently cleaned up the mess he had made, without saying a word.
I helped Bingli tidy up the flower materials.
After Liang Yuying finished speaking, she walked to the other side to deal with the flowers, remaining silent as well.
Ye Bingli stood in the middle of the shop, frowning as she looked at the two silent figures in the distance.
Something's wrong, something's very wrong.
The two were usually very close and had a great relationship, so why didn't they even speak to each other when they met now?
What happened between them that caused them to become so estranged?
Did they have a falling out?
Ye Bingli stepped up to Li Shuchen and tentatively asked, "Shuchen, has anything bothering you lately?"
Li Shuchen shook his head: "No, everything is as usual. Why would Bingli ask this?"
Ye Bingli: "I'm afraid Shu Chen won't be happy."
Li Shuchen was deeply moved upon hearing this: "I'm very happy, Bingli, you don't need to worry about me."
Seeing that she couldn't get any information from Liang Yuying, Ye Bingli got up and went to her side.
"Yu Ying, is there anything I can help you with?"
Upon hearing this, Liang Yuying blushed and shook her head: "No."
Seeing the blush on her face, Ye Bingli immediately understood and said with a smile, "Okay, feel free to contact me anytime if you need anything in the future."
Liang Yuying nodded: "Mm"
The three of them spent the whole day in the flower shop, sorting out all the flowers and labeling them with their meanings.
next morning
A group of people were making a lot of noise, banging drums and gongs downstairs at the Happiness Inn.
The leader shouted, "Stop! Look at this! Happiness Inn is shameless! They stole our family's ancestral recipe and are even stealing our business! They're despicable!"
"Stop for a second, take a look... How utterly despicable."
Startled awake by the noise, Li Shuchen jumped out of bed, put on his coat, and leaped from the third floor, shouting...
"Bullshit!"
Spit sprayed directly onto the leader's face.
Li Shuchen landed gracefully, winning cheers from passersby.
"You little slut, you dare to curse me?"
The leader pointed at Li Shuchen and cursed.
Li Shuchen wasn't one to be trifled with either. He sized up the leader with his eyes, a smirk playing on his lips, and began to unleash his attacks.
"Ha, I wondered who was so rude, shouting and cursing downstairs at someone's house so early in the morning. Turns out it's a blind, ignorant lamb restaurant owner. You're truly blind! Such an excellent girl, and you don't want her, yet you blame me for stealing your business. Bah, you impotent raging fool!"
After Li Shuchen finished speaking, he crossed his arms and rolled his eyes.
The mutton restaurant owner trembled with rage: "You, you, you, you deliberately sent someone to my shop to learn the secret recipe, then took them away to steal my business by selling whole roasted lamb! And you still have the nerve to say that?"
Upon hearing this, Li Shuchen roared to the sky: "Hahahaha, what a ridiculous joke! That young girl went to your house for an interview, clearly did the best job, yet you didn't treat her well and let the other two interviewees bully her."
I reminded you several times that the young girl was the best, but you didn't even look at her. In the end, you kept the people who weren't as good as her working in the shop and fired her.
I couldn't bear to see talent go to waste, so I invited her to work at my Happiness Inn. What's it to you?
A large crowd gathered around, whispering amongst themselves after Li Shuchen finished speaking.
"The mutton restaurant owner went too far. He was the one who didn't want her, yet he blamed Miss Li for asking her to leave."
"Exactly, I think it's because the Happiness Inn is doing so well that the mutton shop owner is jealous and deliberately came to cause trouble."
"Who says otherwise? The owner of this mutton hot pot restaurant is a bit clueless too."
The mutton restaurant owner blushed and his heart pounded. He hurriedly pointed at Li Shuchen and said, "Secret recipe! You stole my family's secret recipe! Only my family in the entire capital has such spices. You must have climbed over my wall in the middle of the night and stolen my spices!"
Upon hearing this, Li Shuchen flicked his bangs with his index finger and said leisurely, "Hey, I say, mutton restaurant owner, your farts are even stinkier than a series of farts. I, Li Shuchen, wouldn't even look at your coarse spices."
The spices in my house were specially provided by a wealthy young master; they are a hundred or a thousand times more refined than yours. Even wild boars are not worthy of eating coarse chaff.
The mutton restaurant owner got even angrier after hearing this, and the fat on his face trembled so much it looked like it was about to fall off.
"Who knows what underhanded tricks you used to seduce that rich young man?"
Li Shuchen exhaled and slowly said, "A wild boar is a wild boar. Not only can it not eat fine chaff, but it also speaks in a way that is unpleasant to hear. You are blind to the great man, willful and reckless, bullying girls and slandering others. How could a wealthy young master do business with your family?"
As for me, Li Shuchen, I cherish talent, treat young ladies well, am decisive and responsible, and never do anything petty. It is only because wealthy young men appreciate me that they do business with me.”
