As Aunt Cai accepted the tea offered by Madam Qin, she smiled and nodded at Granny Liu.
"I know that Yunhe is very smart. It's also because your Su family knows how to educate her. I think your younger generation are all very beautiful."

"Where do I see the second wife's daughters? I remember you two had two daughters too. Aren't they of marriageable age?"

Hearing Aunt Cai's words, Su Yunhe felt much more at ease, so she chatted and laughed with Granny Liu as they saw Aunt Cai off.
When the two returned to the courtyard, they bumped into Su Banxia washing her face. Su Yunhe looked up, seemingly blinded by something, and when she looked closer, she noticed a ruby ring on Su Banxia's hand, and her eyes immediately filled with envy.
"Mother, look at the ring on Su Banxia's hand. How could she have something so valuable?"
Granny Liu never gave Su Banxia a second glance, but after Su Yunhe's reminder, she looked at Su Banxia's index finger and noticed the ring that sparkled in the sunlight.
"Where did this brat get that ring? How come I didn't notice it before? Does the second wife have spare money to buy her jewelry?"
Upon hearing this, Su Yunhe couldn't help but roll her eyes at Granny Liu.
"My second brother and sister-in-law are always working in the fields right under your nose. How could they have time to earn money to buy Su Banxia a ring? Who knows where she stole it from!"
As she spoke, Su Yunhe tugged at Granny Liu's arm and said coquettishly:
"Mother, I think this ring is nice. Go and snatch it for me. It'll make a great dowry when I get married. How could a lowly girl like Su Banxia be worthy of such a beautiful ring!"
