Dugu Jianling reacted quickly and decisively, his eyes scanning the cave rapidly, searching for any possible cover.

His gaze finally settled on a depression not far away, where the terrain seemed to offer them temporary refuge.

Suddenly, he noticed that a stone slab on the ground seemed different from what he was looking at. He immediately stopped and signaled to Dugu Jianling to pay attention.

"There might be a trap here," Yun Muhan said softly, his voice low and cautious, revealing his vigilance towards potential danger.

He crouched down and carefully examined the stone slab, gently touching its edge with his fingers, searching for any possible mechanism.

Sure enough, there were fine scratches on the edge of the stone slab, which were out of place with the surrounding stone slabs. These scratches were probably left after the mechanism was triggered.

Dugu Jianling nodded, drew his sword, and carefully pried up the stone slab. Below was a complex mechanical device, covered with gears and chains. The device was precisely and intricately designed, clearly an ancient trap.
