Chapter 179 Egg
Chapter 179 Egg
"It turns out to be a mutation of humans and vultures."
Miao Yin said, then pushed off the railing and jumped down to Tu Hao's side.
In that short time, his superficial wounds had completely healed.
The nine-headed bird still occupied the cave, its black eyes scrutinizing them from head to toe.
“It won’t come down,” Tu Hao said calmly.
“A mutant wouldn’t go against their nature for no reason. There’s something in that cave,” Miao Yin said.
"One person on each side." With that, Tu Hao disappeared from the spot.
"Who's the madman?" Miao Yin laughed, conjuring a flaming bow and arrow in her hand and aiming it forward.
Tu Hao strode up the rock wall and struck first, firing several shots at the nine-headed bird's head, then aiming at its belly and slashing down with his wolf claws.
The two sides attacked simultaneously, catching the mutant off guard. Bullets pierced through their heads, and the specially made ammunition exploded, blowing the tops of both heads off.
The other heads emitted sharp bird cries and opened their mouths wide to bite him.
Several flaming arrows pierced the air and struck its head accurately, burning its mouth apart with sparks.
"very."
The wolf claws tore at the nine-headed bird's abdomen, and Tu said impatiently, "It's a bit tough."
The deformed bird's feathers were unusual, becoming hard and stiff, probably impervious to bullets. Fortunately, he had aimed at the outside of the head, so they could still be of some use.
The mutant was completely enraged, stomping his feet on the ground and emitting powerful sonic waves.
Tu Hao, with his keen hearing, couldn't bear this, and blood immediately flowed from his ears.
Fortunately, the sound wave was interrupted after only one second. Miao Yin had already arrived at the cave at some point, and the fire transformed into a cleaver, slicing off two heads.
The deformed person's two necks turned into ownerless strips of flesh, dangling aimlessly in the air.
Miao Yin jumped onto the birds' backs and kicked them off.
Tu Hao, who was still below, immediately grabbed the two necks, his wolf claws digging into the flesh to hold them firmly in place, and then pulled them outwards, jumping down into the cave.
He pulled the nine birds away a bit, their remaining heads tilted back and shrieked, their claws gripping the rocks to prevent themselves from falling.
"Ah!"
Tu Hao grabbed its neck, placed his feet on the rock wall, used his body as a lever, tensed all his muscles, and used brute force to pull it down.
"Get off here!"
He launched the "Intimidation" attack, a mental assault that pierced the minds of the mutated man.
"Ahhh—" the mutant screamed, and his body began to mutate. Several lost heads grew back instantly, and his body size increased.
Two newly grown heads bent upwards, their beaks biting Tu Hao's arm, tearing his flesh open, leaving him covered in blood from the sharp beaks.
Tu Hao's arrogant face showed no sign of panic. He simply grabbed the two heads, tied them together like a knot, and then slammed them hard against the rock wall until the heads shattered!
The mutated man's claws clung tightly to the cave, while the remaining seven heads simultaneously attacked Tu Hao.
"Don't ignore me."
Miao Yin, who had deliberately concealed her presence, appeared behind it. Terrifying flames swept in from behind, carrying scorching heat waves, and crashed into the nine-headed bird!
The magma-like liquid flames burned onto the bird's claws, causing the moisture to evaporate and the muscles to curl up from the heat. One of the bird's claws was severed by Miao Yin.
With one leg gone and struck by flames, the nine-headed bird was forced to lose its footing, and Tu Hao flung it away with a single effort!
The nine-headed bird rolled several times in the air, and just before landing, it spread its huge wings. Although they had been damaged by the fire, they were still usable. It flapped its wings and flew close to the ground, heading back to the cave.
"Boom!"
Two more gunshots rang out, the bullets exploding on his head. The deformed man, who had lost part of his vision, flew off course, and his remaining foot was suddenly grabbed and pulled down hard!
"Stay right here, you bastard!"
Tu Hao's voice was deep and full of murderous intent, and his dark green eyes, like those of a wild wolf, were brimming with the fierce fighting spirit of a predator.

Without the nine-headed bird's obstruction, Miao Yin could move freely in and out of the cave.
The hole, dug very deep by the mutants, was nearly fifty meters deep. Flames surrounded Miao Yin, illuminating her surroundings.
The cave was very damp, with broken bones and dried grass scattered on the ground, and a lingering stench of decay permeated the air.
Miao Yin quickly moved through the room and soon discovered the truth behind the nine-headed bird's reluctance to come out.
It was a huge bird's nest built of bones, with an unknown, foul-smelling liquid binding the skeleton together and fixing it to the four rock walls.
A giant, reddish-brown egg lay quietly in the bone nest.
Miao Yin placed her palm on the eggshell; it was warm. If she listened carefully, she could hear a faint heartbeat inside. She tapped the eggshell; it was very hard.
"The maternal love of a deformed person?"
When she said the last two words, Miao Yin couldn't help but laugh out loud.
If even the Mother Goddess doesn't have something like that, then this vulture certainly can't have it either.
They're probably kept here to be eaten.
She conjured an axe in her hand and chopped mercilessly at the eggshell.
"Crack!"
She slashed a crack in the eggshell, then continued slashing around it, one cut after another, until she created a hole in the eggshell, from which yellow liquid gushed out.
Miao Yin tore open the fragments and looked inside.
A huge, round creature floated in the warm liquid. It was encased in a transparent membrane, hairless, with only a layer of fleshy red skin. Its appearance was somewhat similar to that of a nine-headed bird, but it had only three heads.
It lay quietly asleep, unaware that its shell had been broken.
Miao Yin took out a disposable glove, put it on, then grabbed its head and pulled the deformed man out of it.
Upon leaving the soft eggshell, the deformed human seemed to be forcibly awakened, uttering childish chirps with its eyes closed.
Its muscles twitched, and suddenly a mouth full of sharp teeth appeared, which it lunged at and bit at Miao Yin.
Miao Yin swung her axe at it, splitting its mouth open, tearing apart its two necks and wings, then grabbed its remaining head and dragged it away.
Outside, Tu Hao was locked in a fierce battle with the Nine-Headed Bird.
This nine-headed bird is about to break through to the pink crystal core, and its strength is far greater than that of the mutated people it has encountered before. In addition, it is eager to return home and has not yet used its full strength.
He just happened to break through his level today, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to last this long.
Just as Miao Yin dragged the little mutant out, Tu Hao had just broken off another of its heads.
"Hey," Miao Yin called out, picking up the little mutant in her hand.
Tu Hao and the nine-headed bird both looked over.
The nine-headed bird immediately let out a sharp cry and struggled to fly over, but Tu Hao grabbed its wing from behind, leaving terrible wounds with his wolf claws.
"Sorry."
Miao Yin smiled, lifted the little mutant, and unleashed a burst of flames from her palm, burning it to death amidst its piercing screams.
A blue crystal core fell down and was caught by Miao Yin, who absorbed it instantly, shattering the nine-headed bird's delusion.
“Ahhhhh——!!”
Upon seeing this, the remaining heads of the nine-headed bird roared angrily.
Enraged, the mutant became hysterical, and its body began to change. With a fierce flap of its wings, it flung Tu Hao away.
The wounds on his body healed rapidly, and his body grew even larger, with black feathers gleaming with a metallic sheen.
It flapped its wings fiercely and flew aggressively towards Miao Yin.
