Chapter 189 After Lingyu Returns Home: A New Light of Mission
Chapter 189 After Lingyu Returns Home: A New Light of Mission
Chapter One: Return and Unease
After Alice returned from the Enchanted Realm, everything in Dawn Town remained peaceful and beautiful. She continued to work at the flower shop, selecting flowers and wrapping bouquets for customers, but deep in her heart, that thrilling adventure was like a pebble thrown into a lake, the ripples of which lingered for a long time.
In her spare time, Alice would unconsciously take out the Spirit Feather and gently stroke it. The Spirit Feather shimmered with a soft light in her hand, seemingly telling the story of the Spirit Realm. One day, as Alice was tidying up her flower shop as usual, the Spirit Feather suddenly trembled violently, its light becoming unusually dazzling. Alice looked at the Spirit Feather in horror, at a loss for what to do. The light lasted for a moment, then slowly disappeared, but an image appeared in Alice's mind: the sky of the Spirit Realm was shrouded in darkness, the earth trembled, and people struggled in pain.
"Could the Spirit Realm be in crisis again?" Alice murmured to herself. Filled with unease, she decided to return to the Spirit Realm once more. Alice clutched the Spirit Feather tightly, closed her eyes, and silently prayed. Instantly, a beam of light enveloped her, and Alice's figure vanished from the flower shop.
When Alice opened her eyes again, she found herself in the ruins of the Spirit Realm. The once beautiful flowers were withered, the trees were dead, and a pungent, burnt smell filled the air. "What happened?" Alice cried out. But only deathly silence answered her.
Suddenly, a wounded elf flew out of the ruins. Its wings were stained with blood, and its eyes were filled with fear and despair. "Alice, you've finally come..." the elf said weakly. Alice quickly reached out and let the elf land in her palm. "Tell me quickly, what happened here?" Alice asked anxiously.
The elf's voice trembled as she said, "Since you left, the Spirit Realm enjoyed a brief period of peace. But not long ago, a far more powerful dark force quietly rose up. They possessed a mysterious dark magic capable of corrupting all beautiful things. We were utterly powerless to resist, and the Spirit Realm was destroyed by them..."
Alice was filled with anger and self-blame: "It's all my fault. If I had discovered it sooner, maybe none of this would have happened." The elf comforted her: "It's not your fault, Alice. You've already saved us once. Now, we need your help to save the Spirit Realm again."
Alice nodded firmly: "I definitely will. Do you know where the leader of the dark forces is?" The elf shook her head: "Their leader is very mysterious, always hiding in the darkness. We have never seen his true face. But I have heard that their lair is in the dark abyss at the deepest part of the Spirit Realm, a place full of danger, and no one dares to go near it."
Alice took a deep breath: "No matter how dangerous it is, I'm going to try." Guided by the elf, Alice embarked on her journey to the Dark Abyss.
Chapter Two: A Mysterious Encounter Along the Way
Alice walked along a thorny path, the air thick with a putrid stench. Suddenly, a low roar came from ahead. Alice stopped warily, and saw a gigantic monster emerge from the bushes. This monster was shrouded in black mist, its eyes flashing with an eerie red light, completely different from the monsters she had encountered in the Spirit Realm.
The monster opened its gaping maw and lunged at Alice. Alice swiftly waved her spirit feathers, which emitted a beam of light in an attempt to deflect the monster's attack. However, this monster seemed to be far more powerful than any she had encountered before, and the light appeared somewhat weak under its impact.
Just as Alice was starting to struggle, a figure flew out of the nearby woods. It was a man clad in silver armor, wielding a longsword that gleamed with a cold light, who nimbly charged towards the monster. The man wielded his sword, engaging the monster in fierce combat. Under the man's attacks, the monster gradually showed signs of defeat.
"Quick, use this!" the man shouted to Alice while fighting the monster. He pulled a faintly glowing gem from his waist and tossed it to Alice. Alice instinctively caught the gem, and it instantly resonated with the spirit feather in her hand, shining brightly. Alice concentrated, aiming the light at the monster. The light shone on the monster, causing it to let out a scream and turn to flee.
The man sheathed his longsword and walked up to Alice. He removed his helmet, revealing a handsome face with a resolute look in his eyes. "Hello, my name is Lynn, a wandering knight. How did you end up alone in this dangerous place?" Alice briefly recounted her experiences to Lynn. Upon hearing this, Lynn exclaimed in surprise, "I never imagined you were the Alice who saved the Spirit Realm! I'm willing to help you fight against the forces of darkness; this continent cannot be swallowed by darkness like this."
Alice looked at Lynn gratefully, "Really? That's wonderful, I need your help just the way I do." So, Alice and Lynn set off together, continuing their journey into the Dark Abyss. Along the way, they encountered many dangers: dark mages lurking in the shadows, strange creatures that released poisonous mists, but they overcame them all through their combined efforts.
While passing through a mysterious forest, Alice noticed a strange phenomenon. Although the trees appeared withered, a faint green light shimmered at their roots. Alice crouched down to examine the light closely. Suddenly, she sensed a faint life force emanating from the light.
“Lynn, look here.” Alice beckoned Lynn over. Lynn walked over, looked at the shimmering lights, and frowned. “This is strange. These lights seem to contain some kind of special energy.” Alice tried to bring the spirit feather close to the lights, and the spirit feather instantly emitted a strong light, echoing the light from the tree roots.
As the light intensified, the withered trees around them began to change. Their branches gradually turned green, leaves regrowed, and flowers bloomed again. "What... what's going on?" Lynn exclaimed in surprise. Alice was also shocked: "Perhaps this is the power of the Spirit Feather; it can awaken these lives corrupted by darkness."
Alice realized that this might be the key to fighting the forces of darkness. She and Lynn continued their search in the forest, discovering more and more trees regaining life under the influence of the Spirit Feathers. In the process, Alice also discovered that she had gained a deeper understanding and control over the power of the Spirit Feathers.
Chapter Three: The Secrets of the Dark Abyss
After a long journey, Alice and Lynn finally arrived at the entrance to the Dark Abyss. The Dark Abyss was shrouded in a layer of black mist, exuding a chilling aura. Alice and Lynn cautiously entered the Dark Abyss, where they saw strange symbols carved into the surrounding walls. These symbols shimmered with a dark red light, as if telling ancient and evil stories.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake violently, and a group of enormous rock golems emerged from the ground. These rock golems were more than two people tall, their bodies made of solid rock, and they wielded huge stone hammers. The rock golems swung their hammers and smashed them towards Alice and Lynn.
Alice and Lynn quickly launched a counterattack. Lynn wielded his longsword, engaging the rock golems in close combat, each strike carrying immense power, sending sparks flying as they landed on the golems. Alice, on the other hand, waved her spirit feathers, releasing beams of light that struck the rock golems, slowing their movements.
During the battle, Alice discovered that the rock golems seemed to be controlled by some force. She searched everywhere for the controller and finally found a person dressed in black robes in a corner. The person in black robes held a magic wand and was chanting incantations, directing the rock golems.
"Lynn, I'll deal with the controller, you hold off these puppets!" Alice shouted to Lynn. Then, she focused her energy and charged towards the man in black. Seeing Alice charging towards him, the man in black sneered, "You think you can stop me?" With that, he waved his wand, and a black flame shot towards Alice.
Alice dodged to the side, simultaneously wielding her spirit feather, releasing a beam of light that neutralized the black flames. She accelerated, charging towards the black-robed figure, the spirit feather arcing through the air before piercing him. The black-robed figure hastily raised his wand to block, the spirit feather colliding with the wand with a deafening crash.
While Alice was locked in fierce combat with the black-robed figures, Lynn was also facing difficulties. The number of rock golems was increasing, and his strength was waning. Alice was extremely anxious; she knew she had to deal with the black-robed figures quickly to help Lynn.
Alice concentrated her energy, channeling all the power of her spirit feathers, which shone even brighter. With a roar, she unleashed a powerful slash at the black-robed man. The attack contained immense power; the black-robed man couldn't withstand it and collapsed to the ground, his fate unknown.
Having dealt with the black-robed figure, the rock golems instantly lost control and collapsed. Alice and Lynn breathed a sigh of relief and continued deeper into the Dark Abyss. Deep within the Dark Abyss, they discovered a massive black castle. The castle gates were tightly shut, and powerful dark magic arrays surrounded it.
Alice and Lynn tried to approach the castle, but the power of the dark magic circle was too great, repelling them time and again. Alice concentrated her energy, mobilizing the power of her spirit feathers, attempting to break through the magic circle. However, the magic circle's power was too strong, and her attempts failed repeatedly.
Just as Alice was feeling desperate, she suddenly remembered the trees that had shimmered with green light in the mysterious forest. She realized that perhaps the life force contained within those trees could counteract the dark magic circle. Alice closed her eyes, concentrated, and tried to establish a connection with that life force.
After some effort, Alice sensed a powerful life force emanating from afar, resonating with the spirit feather in her hand. She gathered this power into the spirit feather and then launched it towards the dark magic circle. The light collided with the dark magic circle, producing a deafening roar, and cracks began to appear in the magic circle.
Chapter Four: The Final Battle Against the Dark Lord
Alice and Lynn seized the opportunity to rush into the castle. The castle was dark and damp inside, with green flames burning on the walls, illuminating everything around them. In the castle's hall, they saw a huge black throne, and a figure sat on it.
"You've finally arrived." A deep, sinister voice came from the throne. As the voice rang out, the figure on the throne slowly rose. It was a man dressed in a black robe, his face as pale as paper, his eyes flashing with blood-red light, and he exuded a suffocating aura of darkness.
"So you're the leader of the dark forces?" Alice asked coldly. The man sneered, "That's right, I am. You think you can defeat me easily? How naive! Today is your death day!" With that, the man waved his wand, unleashing powerful dark magic. Black flames raged in the hall, and the surrounding space began to distort.
Alice and Lynn swiftly launched a counterattack. Lynn brandished his longsword, charging towards the Dark Lord, his blade gleaming with silver light as he attempted to break through the Dark Lord's magical defenses. Alice, meanwhile, wielded her spirit feathers, unleashing a powerful light that clashed with the dark magic, producing a deafening sound.
During the battle, Alice discovered that the Dark Leader's magic seemed to be constantly absorbing the surrounding dark energy, growing stronger with each passing moment. She realized that she had to find the Dark Leader's weakness as soon as possible, or they would be in grave danger.
Alice focused intently on the Dark Lord's every move. She noticed that whenever the Dark Lord unleashed a powerful spell, a faint red light would flash from his chest. "Lynn, his chest might be his weak point. Let's concentrate our attack there!" Alice shouted to Lynn.
Lynn nodded, and he and Alice simultaneously focused their power into an attack, shooting it towards the Dark Leader's chest. The Dark Leader seemed to sense the danger and tried to dodge, but Alice and Lynn's attacks were too fast; he couldn't react in time. The light struck the Dark Leader's chest, and he let out a scream, his body beginning to tremble.
“No, this is impossible!” the Dark Lord roared, struggling desperately to break free from the light’s grasp. However, Alice and Lynn gave him no chance, continuing their attack and completely enveloping the Dark Lord in light.
With a deafening roar, the Dark Lord's body crashed to the ground, dissipating into a cloud of black smoke. As the Dark Lord died, the dark magic within the castle gradually vanished, and sunlight streamed in through the windows, bringing warmth and hope.
Alice and Lynn successfully defeated the Dark Lord and saved the Spirit Realm. The people of the Spirit Realm rejoiced upon hearing the news and flocked to the castle to welcome Alice and Lynn. Alice and Lynn became heroes of the Spirit Realm, their names forever etched in its history.
Chapter Five: The Continuation of Hope
After peace was restored in the Spirit Realm, Alice did not immediately return to her own world. She decided to stay in the Spirit Realm for a while to help the people rebuild their homes. Under the leadership of Alice and Lynn, the people of the Spirit Realm worked together to create a better future. The once barren land was replanted with flowers and trees, the collapsed houses were rebuilt, and laughter once again echoed across the land.
During her time in the Spirit Realm, Alice's feelings for Lynn deepened. They faced countless difficulties and challenges together, their trust and understanding growing stronger. Finally, on a sunny day, Lynn confessed his love to Alice. Alice gladly accepted, and with the blessings of the people of the Spirit Realm, they became husband and wife.
However, Alice never forgot her hometown. She knew the people of Dawntown were waiting for her return. After living in the Spirit Realm for a while, Alice decided to return to her own world. After discussing it with Lynn, they decided to go back to Dawntown together and start a new life.
When Alice and Lynn stood once again on the land of Dawntown, Alice was filled with emotion. Everything was still so familiar, as if she had never left. Alice led Lynn to the flower shop, where the owner, seeing Alice return, was moved to tears.
“Alice, you’re finally back! Do you know how worried I was about you?” the shop owner said. Alice smiled and said, “I’m back, and I’ll never leave again.” From then on, Alice and Lynn ran the flower shop together, and their lives were filled with happiness and joy.
Although Alice has returned to her own world, her heart remains firmly connected to the Spirit Realm. She knows that no matter what difficulties she encounters in the future, she has the courage to face them. Because she was once a hero of a world, her heart is filled with hope and strength. And this hope and strength will be passed on forever, illuminating the hearts of everyone.
