Chapter 639: Dangerous Allies.

The main reason he chose to keep running and not listen to Forced Exchange was that he wasn’t confident that he would be able to survive even if reinforcement from the alliance arrived.

He had a suspicion that the people of the Thorn House of Commerce would let Loki kill him so that they could take his Divine Metac after his death or use the threat of death to coerce him to join their alliance.

He didn’t trust them to prioritize killing Gold Body, so he chose to look out for his interests and escape now. No matter what, Forced Exchange said to make him stop and fight, the sight of Loki getting closer to him every moment compelled him to keep running.

It was, as they say, action speaks louder than words. In this case, Loki’s actions and power were more convincing than all of Forced Exchange’s shouting and logical arguments.

Money Construct wanted to disappear immediately with all of his might. The best way to do this was to enter another dimension, be it the first or the second dimension. Unfortunately, Monarch Forced Exchange was blocking the boundaries of the other dimensions with his large Cave Heaven.

Forced Exchange’s Cave Heaven was 2.843 billion square kilometers in size. The area of this influence was a circle with a radius of 30,082 kilometers around Forced Exchange. This is the amount of distance he must have between him and Forced Exchange before he can escape into another dimension.

If he can create a distance of 30,082 kilometers between himself and Forced Exchange, he can escape the area of the blockade. It is either this or he makes his Cave Heaven clash with Forced Exchange’s Cave Heaven and force his way through.

If he decides to force his way through, his Cave Heaven will be destroyed. Since he can’t force his way through, he has to create enough distance between himself and Forced. Unfortunately, this is still going to be difficult to achieve because he is much weaker than Forced Exchange.

He is running away from the Blessed Heaven World, and Loki is chasing after him. Forced Exchange is right behind them.

Loki is faster than him and is catching up to him, but Forced Exchange is faster than Loki. So there is no way for him to be faster than Loki, there is no way for him to be faster than Forced Exchange.

He didn’t want to accept his fate, so he sent a message to Forced Exchange, saying, "Remove your Cave Heaven. Let me go."

His voice was anxious as he said, "Just remove the Cave Heaven for a brief instant. He won’t know, so he won’t be able to take advantage of the brief gap. I will escape, and you will still be able to keep him here."

But Forced Exchange sneered and said, "In your dreams. What is going to happen is that you will either stand your ground and fight for a slim chance of freedom or you will die running."

Money Construct didn’t get the opportunity to choose because Loki caught up to him. Loki began beating him while Forced Exchange watched.

It wasn’t that Forced Exchange didn’t want to help. It was simply that there was nothing Forced Exchange could do that wouldn’t cost money.

Forced Exchange’s Divine Metac left him no choice but to spend 550 divine merit points. And there was no going back after spending the divine merit points.

If he was going to spend the divine merit points anyway, he would prefer to do so after Gold Body had killed Monarch Money Construct so that the sect could get the Money Construct Metac after his death.

Besides, he wasn’t in a hurry anyway since he was faster and stronger than Gold Body. There was no way that Gold Body would be able to escape from him, so he felt that he could take his time.

So while Money Construct was being beaten to death, Forced Exchange had the leisure to say, "If you promise to surrender to the alliance, I might save you."

This was the exact reason Money Construct hadn’t had faith in Forced Exchange’s so-called reinforcements. Now that it was happening, he wasn’t surprised.

However, he was still bitter. In fact, the fact that he saw this coming only made him more bitter.

He said to Force Exchange, "I hope you die a gruesome death."

So Forced Exchange snorted and said, "Too bad. That is unlikely to happen because there are very few people who can kill me."

"As for you, you will die soon. Then the alliance will replace you with someone compliant."

He wanted Money Construct to die as soon as possible, but Loki refused to deal the finishing blow. Instead of killing the cultivator, Loki kept him half alive and took him along.

Loki held his neck like he was a chicken and continued to run away from the Blessed Heaven. He kept Monarch Money Construct alive so that he could continue to borrow the man’s power for his five Vengeful Bones Metac.

Forced Exchange didn’t know why Loki was keeping Money Construct, so he said, "Don’t think that you can use him as a hostage. You should know by now that we don’t really care about people who haven’t joined their Cave Heaven with ours. The old Gold Body is a clear example of that."

In response, Loki smiled and said, "I know what I am doing."

After speaking, he did nothing else. He just continued to run away in what appeared to be a random direction.

Forced Exchange didn’t understand his behavior at all, so the money cultivator frowned and asked, saying, "So what do you plan to do? If you’re not going to kill him, what else do you want to do with him? And why are you not attacking me?"

Loki shrugged and said in reply, "I want to keep him alive for entertainment. As for why I am not attacking you, what you said is wrong."
