The Villainess Wants a Divorce: Beast Husbands Regret It to Tears

Chapter 218: I Will Never Rest Until You’re Dead!

Chapter 218: I Will Never Rest Until You’re Dead!

This time, he could no longer soften his heart.

Seraphina Caldwell pressed down with her foot, and her sharp claws sank in again.

"Speak quickly! Where is he?!"

"It’s all because of you! All because of you! How dare you ask?! Ignis killed him! It’s all your fault! If it weren’t for you, none of this would have happened!"

Evan Orwell heard the word "dead," and it was like being struck by lightning.

Seraphina trembled with anger, her chest heaving violently.

"The one who killed Lucian Lowell was Ignis! It’s your male! You don’t hate him, but you hate me?! I didn’t ask him to help me, he decided that on his own! Why should I bear the blame for his actions?!"

"If not you, then who? Without you, our family would have been fine! You’ve harmed my child, and now my mate is gone too! I will make you pay with your life! Even if it costs me my life, I will make you pay!"

At this moment, Claire Alden heard the commotion and rushed over, followed by her three mates.

She ran towards them like mad, shouting as she ran.

"Stop! Everyone stop!! Don’t touch my mother! If any of you dare touch her again, I will never let you go!"

Claire, enraged, turned and slapped one of her mates, the sound crisp in the air.

"Let go! Go save her! Make them release my mother! Are you just going to stand and watch?! They’re trying to kill her!"

That person held onto her tightly.

"There’s no use in us going there! Even Dad can’t beat them; rushing in is suicide! You’ll die! We’ll all die! Calm down!"

Claire, hearing this, finally gained a bit of clarity.

"What the hell are you! What’s wrong with you! That’s your own mother! What are all of you doing! Stop them already!"

Evan didn’t even pay attention to her, just stood there coldly.

Seraphina looked down at Henry Fairchild lying motionless on the ground, her heart burning with anxiety.

She turned to glare at Lorelei.

"You took Lucian Lowell’s life. Now, it’s your turn to pay it back, with interest!"

As soon as she stopped speaking, her hand pressed down sharply, her palm digging into Lorelei’s chest.

With a puff, the heart was directly crushed!

Lorelei’s pupils shrank, mouth opening and closing, blood continuously pouring out.

"No! Mother! Don’t go——!"

Claire screamed, torn apart, struggling desperately to rush over, but was held tightly by her mate, unable to move.

As Lorelei took her last breath, her bonded mates fell to the ground, wailing in agony.

"Father... save me... Father..."

She watched helplessly as both her father and mother lay there bloodied and silent, her mind exploding.

"Father! Mother! Wake up! Seraphina! I won’t rest until you’re dead! I’ll never let you go! Never..."

Emotions surged to her head, her body couldn’t hold on, her vision darkened, and she fainted straight away.

Seraphina returned to human form, panic-stricken, and rushed to Henry Fairchild’s side in a few steps.

She knelt heavily on the ground, ignoring the pain, reaching out to Henry’s neck.

A white, sinister Bone Knife was stuck straight into his chest.

Seraphina’s hand gently touched the hilt, hesitating to pull it out.

"Dylan, go! Get out of here now!"

Seraphina’s voice was trembling, her hand tightly clutching Henry’s hand.

Dylan Sullivan immediately hoisted them both up and bolted.

Wyatt Yardley then pulled along the still-dazed Evan Orwell, following closely.

After running for a while, Dylan stopped, and Seraphina immediately took them into a space.

Once inside, her eyes never left the knife in Henry’s body.

The blade was deeply embedded in the left side of Henry’s abdomen, the black blade glinting darkly.

The air around them seemed heavy, the pressure making her actions stiff.

Seraphina’s heart ached, tears welling up but she bit her lip, holding them back.

She attempted to channel her Spiritual Power to assess the injury, but a cold force pushed back.

Later, she tried checking Henry’s breath and pulse; thankfully, there was still a heartbeat, and the wound wasn’t bleeding.

His body temperature was low, but he showed signs of life.

She pulled out a clean cloth, carefully placing it under Henry’s head.

Then she adjusted his body into a side-lying position to prevent suffocation.

She took out some medicinal powder she always carried but hesitated and ultimately didn’t use it.

She wanted to immediately find Zoe Vance, but feared that the delay would be too long and Henry wouldn’t hold on.

She was torn, her mind a turbulent mess.

Evan slid slowly to the floor against the wall, his face full of regret, his eyes vacant.

His mother wanted to kill the person he cared about the most, and his father died protecting them.

Now Henry, too, lay uncertain for saving him.

One thing after another, suffocating him, the pain was unbearable.

All the calamities started because of him.

It seemed his very birth doomed everyone around him.

He closed his eyes, tears slipping from the corners.

Seraphina suddenly noticed Henry’s fingers twitch slightly.

She leaned down, pressing close to feel his faint breath.

"I’m sorry... I’m so sorry... I didn’t expect things to turn out this way. I shouldn’t have brought you into this; you belong to the sea, free, not dragged into this mess! Did you always know this day would come? So you hid the truth, kept saying it was nothing, telling me not to worry... you’re such a fool..."

"Ugh..."

Seraphina was sobbing uncontrollably when she suddenly heard a faint sound.

She widened her eyes, looking at Henry, her heart racing, holding her breath.

The previously unconscious Henry suddenly raised a hand to clutch his chest.

His gaze was initially unfocused, as if not fully awake.

But when his eyes fell on Seraphina’s face, his pupils gradually focused.

He wanted to raise his hand to wipe her tears, his fingers slightly curling, trying to lift his arm.

But as he moved, the pain in his chest was like a twisting knife.

Seeing this, Seraphina quickly pressed his hand down.

"Don’t move! Don’t move! Can you hold on? We’ll go back to find Zoe Vance; she must know what to do, she can save you!"

Watching her cry for him like that, Henry’s heart warmed.

"Don’t cry, I’m fine, I won’t die. I know what I’m doing, don’t be sad."

Upon hearing this, Seraphina cried even harder.

Henry panicked seeing her more upset with his words.

Resolving himself, he suddenly sat up, his back muscles tensing, veins popping on his neck.

He gripped the hilt of the Bone Knife impaled in his chest with his left hand, supporting his body with his right, and yanked it out!

Dylan and Wyatt Yardley had seen a lot in their time.

Yet this scene turned their faces pale with fear.

Seraphina screamed at the sight of Henry holding the bloodied Bone Knife.

She lunged over and grabbed the knife away.

"Are you crazy! What are you doing! Want to die?!"

But the expected gruesome scene didn’t occur.

The wound on Henry’s chest slowly began to close.

Seraphina rubbed her eyes, fingertips repeatedly wiping the corners.

It was really healing!

"I know you can recover, but that knife pierced your heart! Can you live even with a heart wound?"

Henry shook his head slightly.

"My heart isn’t there. If it were, I’d be gone by now."

Upon hearing this, Seraphina hugged him tightly, arms encircling his back, burying her face in his shoulder.

"Are you trying to scare me to death! If something really happened to you, what would I do! Why didn’t you say anything ahead of time? Suddenly scaring me like this, who can handle that?!"

Henry hugged Seraphina tightly, his voice trembling slightly.
