Dragon Hidden in the Sky

Chapter 550 Arrival at the Arctic

Chapter 550 Arrival at the Arctic

"Second brother, take them to their rooms!" Z said to the second brother beside him.

After Ye Qing and Lin Qianyu arrived at the room, the second brother left. Ye Qing carefully checked the room and found no cameras or anything like that, which put his mind at ease.

"I feel like this Z looks pretty normal," Lin Qianyu said.

"You know, he seems normal, but some of his ideas are just crazy," Ye Qing said, shaking his head.

Before long, the cruise ship left the port along with another ship.

Time passed quickly, and two or three days went by in the blink of an eye. Ye Qing clearly felt that the temperature was getting lower and lower.

Besides the few super-sized ships, there were also many staff members, cooks, and crew members on board.

Of course, these people will not eventually land in the Arctic.

Everything was normal, though.

On this day, Ye Qing and Lin Qianyu were sitting on the top deck.

Z came out, smiling, and said, "You two seem to be in good spirits!"

Ye Qing raised an eyebrow and looked at him.

"Are you really unwilling to take out this map and look at it beforehand?" Z asked.

Ye Qing shook his head and said, "Let's talk about it when we get to the Arctic. If you take one look and memorize the whole map, and then try to scheme against us, that's not what I want to see."

“You still don’t trust me!” Z shook his head and said, “Ye Qing, we can build up some trust between us. We share the same goal in exploring what lies beyond this ice wall. Perhaps we will become adversaries in the future, but not now. You still owe me your life!”

“I know! But these are two different things,” Ye Qing said.

“Alright!” Z said, “Ye Qing, have you really never thought about where we humans came from? How exactly did our civilization develop, and how did human civilization develop?”

“I told you before that after we went deep into the Arctic, we discovered ice sculptures from various dynasties. Haven’t you ever wondered why people from every dynasty went here and died here?” Z asked. “By the way, almost every one of these people was carrying a weapon.”

"So?" Ye Qing asked.

"So I speculate that these people are most likely martial artists. Like your parents, they know that there are extraordinary methods here, but they just don't have the ability to obtain them," Ye Qing said.

"So what do you want to say?" Ye Qing asked.

“Therefore, my speculation is quite reasonable. Why would there be a method that surpasses the super in such an icy and snowy place? It is very likely that it was left behind by the previous civilization!” Z said.

Ye Qing rubbed her forehead.

Over the past few days, whenever Z has free time, he talks to him about human origins, history, civilization, and the like.

Ye Qing pondered for a moment and then asked, "If you confirm it, what good will it do?"

“Sigh, you don’t understand. History is the driving force that propels humanity forward. Experience!” Z sighed and glanced at Ye Qing. “Forget it, I won’t talk to you about this anymore. There’s a vast, well-organized base in the Arctic. Perhaps your parents visited the base when they went deep into the ice wall. And they probably spend a lot of time deep into the ice wall, so they might know more useful information than I do. You can go and talk to them!”

"Aren't you afraid of coming with me and getting captured?" Ye Qing asked.

“Of course I’m not afraid,” Z said. “I have three super-powerful people with me, and you are so powerful now, they won’t do anything to me.”

“If the Heavenly Net wants to catch you, I won’t interfere; I might even help them deal with you,” Ye Qing said.

Z smiled and didn't seem to care too much!

He always acts as if he has everything under control.

Time flies, and another four days have passed quietly.

On this day, a group of six people stood on the deck. Ye Qing and the others were all wearing thick down jackets, hats, and sunglasses!

By this time, they were close to the Arctic, and the surroundings were extremely cold.

With the icebreaker leading the way, their progress slowed considerably.

“In another two hours, we will reach the vicinity of the ice wall.” Z smiled and said, “Above the ice wall is an endless land, and no one can cross this icy world.”

As Ye Qing approached, he had a strange feeling; he felt that he was getting closer and closer to his parents.

Two more hours passed, and a thick ice wall stood before them, though it wasn't very high.

The group of six, carrying their prepared supplies, climbed onto the ice wall.

At first glance, it is a pure ice and snow world, with an endless glacier in front of you, stretching as far as the eye can see.

Behind him lay the vast ocean, and Ye Qing, having just arrived, felt an overwhelming sense of loneliness.

He found it hard to imagine how his parents could have survived in such a place for eight years.

"Let's go!" Z smiled slightly.

Beside him, the second brother came to him, squatted down, and soon picked him up on his back.

Ye Qing looked at him with a puzzled expression.

“I’m just an ordinary person. If I travel on my own, it will slow everyone down,” Z said with a slight smile. “Besides, you’ll probably only show me that map after we’ve gone deeper into the subject, right?”

In fact, ever since Yi Shuihan called him, he and Lin Qianyu had studied the map, but they couldn't see anything in it, and they didn't even think it was a map.

"Let me meet with the people from Tianluodiwang and get some information before we talk about it!" Ye Qing said.

Z looked as if he had known this all along. The group, dragging their heavy luggage, began to venture deeper into the glacier.

These four people, Z, were clearly not landing here for the first time. They led Ye Qing and Lin Qianyu, heading into the glacier with ease. Before long, some houses appeared in front of Ye Qing and the others.

"This is the Tianluodiwang base in the Arctic," Z said, pointing to the building ahead.
