Chapter 251: Phantom City and River of Souls

In a different dimension, Lin Yinyin and Lin Xiaotang arrive at a mysterious phantom city. This city is full of unpredictable phantoms, and they need to learn to distinguish between truth and falsehood in order to find the way to the next level.

Upon entering the Phantom City, Lin Yinyin and Lin Xiaotang were immediately struck by the ever-changing scene before them. The surrounding buildings, streets, and people were constantly changing, as if they were inside a giant kaleidoscope.

"This place is so magical," Lin Yinyin exclaimed, "How can we find the way to the next level?"

Lin Xiaotang frowned and observed everything around her carefully. Suddenly, she noticed a strange shadow. The shadow looked like an ordinary citizen, but the way it moved was very strange.

"Do you think that person is the key?" Lin Xiaotang asked Lin Yinyin quietly while pointing at the shadow.

Lin Yinyin looked in the direction Lin Xiaotang pointed and indeed spotted the strange shadow. She nodded and said, "It's very likely. We might as well follow it and see."

They followed the shadow carefully, trying not to make any noise. Suddenly, the shadow stopped and turned to look at them. Its face was blurry, but its eyes revealed an evil aura.

"You are finally here," Shadow said in a low voice, "I have been waiting for you for a long time."

Lin Yinyin's heart was shocked. She asked calmly, "Who are you? Why are you waiting for us?"

The shadow laughed sinisterly. "I am the guardian of the Phantom City. My mission is to guard the secrets of this city. If you want to pass through here, you must solve the puzzles here."

Lin Xiaotang asked, "So, what is the puzzle?"

The guardian replied, "This city is filled with illusions. You must learn to distinguish between truth and falsehood in order to find a way to the next level."

Lin Yinyin thought for a moment and asked, "Then how can we learn to distinguish true from false?"

The guardian sneered, "You will need to go through a test. If you can pass it, I will tell you the answer."

After saying that, the guardian turned and disappeared. Lin Yinyin and Lin Xiaotang looked at each other in bewilderment. They knew that the adventure of finding the answer to the mystery had just begun.

River of Souls

After passing through the Phantom City, Lin Yinyin and Lin Xiaotang arrived at the River of Souls, where they had to face their inner fears and struggles in order to cross this seemingly insurmountable gap.

The River of Souls flows quietly, its waters as dark as night, a formidable sight. Thick fog hangs over both banks, and strange shadows can be vaguely seen.

"We must cross this river," Lin Yinyin said firmly, "but this river doesn't look easy to cross."

Lin Xiaotang frowned as she looked at the river, feeling an inexplicable fear in her heart. She knew this would be a difficult test.

They sat down on the bank, trying to calm their anxiety. Suddenly, the river began to churn and a huge figure slowly rose from the water.

The figure was like a small mountain, emitting a suffocating sense of oppression. It had a ferocious face, eyes flashing with a cold green light, and a bloody mouth that seemed capable of swallowing everything.

"Welcome to the River of Souls," the figure said in a deep voice. "This is a test of your inner self. If you can face your deepest fears, you will successfully cross this river."

Lin Yinyin couldn't help but ask, "Then how should we face the fear in our hearts?"

The figure replied, "You must enter your own inner world and find what you fear most deeply. Then, face it bravely and overcome it. Only then can you cross the river of your soul."

Lin Yinyin and Lin Xiaotang looked at each other anxiously, knowing that the next battle would be a tough one. They each entered their own spiritual space to face the fears hidden deep in their hearts.

Lin Yinyin found herself standing in a little girl's room, a place filled with childhood memories. She saw her younger self crying helplessly because her parents, busy with work, often ignored her feelings. A wave of sadness welled up in her heart, and she reached out to hug the lonely little girl.

Meanwhile, Lin Xiaotang's mind resonated with the image of a broken family. She witnessed her parents' arguments, watched them hurt each other, and the family's shattering. Her heart was filled with pain, yet she could do nothing to stop it. She sobbed silently, trying to comfort the hurt little girl.

As time passed, Lin Yinyin and Lin Xiaotang gradually overcame their fears. They embraced their inner pain, bravely facing it and accepting it. Finally, a powerful force rose within them, illuminating the darkness of their hearts.

When they opened their eyes again, the waters of the River of Souls had become calm. Hand in hand, they crossed the seemingly insurmountable chasm and continued to move forward into the unknown.
