Became good friends with the Boy Who Lived

Chapter 155 Confinement

Chapter 155 Confinement

The first detention started at five o'clock in the afternoon of that day. During dinner, Hermione seemed to be hesitant to speak as she watched Aeris wolfing down his food.

"What's wrong, dear?" Aeris asked Hermione curiously while chewing.

"Get lost!" Hermione said unhappily, "You are usually very cautious, why are you so...flashy today?"

"Hehehe!" Aeris smiled and said, "Fudge has woven an illusory dream for people, but if we don't break this dream, we will be vulnerable when Voldemort rises up. Moreover, the road to the truth is bound to be full of thorns. I don't mind taking a wade through it..."

"Eris!" Harry said a little ashamedly, "I should have been more determined..."

"Don't be silly," said Aeris. "I don't think it would be any better if we went together to be punished than if I went alone. Don't worry about me. I'll be back as soon as possible."

After swallowing his last piece of bread, Aries kissed Hermione on the cheek and left in a hurry, ignoring Hermione's angry glare.

Along the way, many students who went to the cafeteria pointed fingers at Eric. The content of the "video" posted by Eric had been spread among the students by word of mouth.

Aires ignored it and went straight to Professor Umbridge's office.

Aries knocked on the door politely, and after a sweet "Come in", Aries pushed the door open.

Seeing the layout of the room, Aeris couldn't help but frown. Various vases filled the space where things could be placed, and the walls were covered with small photo frames. In the photo frames were various cats with colorful bows tied around their necks.

Aes had a strange look on his face and his stomach was churning. "What exactly does this old toad like?" Aes wondered to himself.

"Good evening, dear!" said Professor Umbridge in a coquettish voice.

"Oh...good evening...Umbridge...Professor..." Aeris said unnaturally.

"Please take a seat!" said Professor Umbridge with a smirk.

Aeris looked at the armchair that was specially prepared for him, and next to it was a small round table that could only be used by one person. On the small round table was a piece of parchment and a quill pen with a tip as sharp as a blade.

Aires sat down properly and looked at the thing in front of him with pretended curiosity.

"Shall we begin?" came Professor Umbridge's stomach-churning voice.

Aeris nodded silently.

"I want you to write a few words on parchment," said Professor Umbridge. "I...can't...lie..."

Aeris picked up the special feather pen, felt it carefully, showed a weird smile, and began to write quickly on the parchment.

"I..." The first word was written, a bright red mark appeared on the parchment, and a scream came from Professor Umbridge.

"No..." Aris continued writing as Professor Umbridge began flipping through something.

"Lying..." Aeris didn't even raise his head, but wrote more attentively.

"Stop... Enough... Stop now..." Professor Umbridge screamed in horror. It was no longer that coquettish voice, but an extremely contrasting voice.

Aeris raised his head with a smile, but his writing hand did not stop, but wrote even faster.

Professor Umbridge now had a distorted face, holding a small mirror in one hand and a wand in the other, pointing at Aeris.

A line of beautiful handwriting with hooks and circles appeared on Professor Umbridge's forehead: "I can't lie..."

Aris was deliberately imitating Professor Dumbledore's handwriting.

"I said... stop..." Professor Umbridge said angrily, the tip of her wand turned a dangerous red. After Aris finished writing the last stroke, he stopped writing.

"Want to change the sentence, Professor Umbridge?" Aeris said innocently.

Professor Umbridge took a few deep breaths, and the words on her forehead slowly disappeared, leaving only a very faint mark.

"That's all for today, dear!" Professor Umbridge regained her coquettish voice, "Shall we continue tomorrow? Now... get out of my sight..."

Aris left the disgusting office without looking back.

When they returned to the common room, Harry was fidgeting with his homework and Ron was slumped in an armchair with a large book covering his face.

The rest of the students were watching the quarrel between Hermione and the Weasley twins as if they were watching a show.

Fred and George have been testing their skipping candy on younger students. Although there are some side effects, they don't intend to stop. Apparently in their subconscious, as long as these things they invented don't kill people, they can be eaten to death.

"So... Prefect Hermione..." Fred said with a half-smile.

"How are you going to punish us?" George said disdainfully.

"Lock us up?" said Fred.

"Or should we copy sentences?" George said.

Hermione showed the same sinister smile as Aries, and said gently: "I will write a letter tomorrow and tell Mrs. Weasley everything..."

Fred and George both took a step back.

"You...you...you..." Fred said in horror.

"You wouldn't do that...How could you...No..." George said in an equally panicked tone.

"If you continue this dangerous experiment, I will do that," Hermione said fiercely, "Stop... now... immediately... right now..."

Fred and George had no choice but to leave in shame.

Hermione glared at the students who were watching the fun and said loudly, "Don't you all need to do your homework?"

The students around him all dispersed with sneers.

Hermione returned to Harry and Ron angrily. "Thank you for your support, Ron!" Hermione said teasingly.

"You handled it very well..." Ron muttered.

Aeris sat next to Hermione and said with a smile, "I have to say, dear, you were really cool just now..."

Hermione glared at Aris and said unhappily, "Why are you back so early?"

"You say that," said Aeris amusedly, "and you still want me to stay with that old toad for a while longer?"

"You know that's not what I meant," Hermione said irritably, throwing a woolen hat carelessly on the ground.

"What are you going to do again?" Aeris asked curiously.

"What?" Hermione said unhappily, "I am working hard to liberate the lower classes of Hogwarts."

Edwards rolled his eyes helplessly, but Hermione noticed it. Hermione angrily put a woolen hat on Edwards' head. It looked pretty good.

"Why is it green?" Aris asked in an angry and amused tone. Harry and Ron, the two idiots, were already laughing so hard that they were bent over.

Hermione yawned loudly and said, "I've been knitting hats these days. Can you help me? Aeris, it's fun..."

"Please spare me, dear!" Aeris said weakly, "I still have to deal with Professor Umbridge's detention tomorrow!"

Hermione shook her head, said "good night", kissed Aeris, and went back to her dormitory.

Aris, Harry, and Ron all smiled bitterly and began to finish their homework.

The next day was an extremely intense day of study, just like before the final exams in previous years. Professor Flitwick, Professor McGonagall, and even Professor Grubbly-Plank all emphasized the importance of the OWls. exams and left a lot of homework.

After learning about Bowtruckles in Professor Grubbly-Plank's Care of Magical Creatures class, Harry was in an extremely bad mood because almost all of his classmates thought that Professor Grubbly-Plank was a better teacher than Hagrid.

After the Care of Magical Creatures class, they came to Professor Sprout's herb greenhouse. Ginny and the others had just finished their get out of class. Luna walked up to Aris and Harry and said firmly, "I believe in you!"

Harry gave a forced smile and Aeris said, "Thank you!"

"Just because people don't believe in it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Just like the Bubble-Nosed Monster and the Crooked-Nosed Unicorn..." But Luna was interrupted by Hermione before she could finish.

"They don't really exist, do they?" said Hermione sharply.

Luna looked at Hermione confusedly, seemed a little angry, then left without looking back.

Ginny giggled and gave Harry a quick kiss on the cheek before leaving with her classmates.

Entering the greenhouse, Harry said to Hermione unhappily: "Can't you just get rid of the only person who believes in me...us?" Aris patted Harry on the shoulder.

"Control yourself, buddy!" Aeris said, "You are on the verge of losing control again..."

"Don't take it out on us, Harry!" Hermione said irritably, "Do you expect a crazy girl to believe in you and change anything?"

"That's quite hurtful, dear!" Aeris looked at Hermione and said seriously, "In the wizarding world, just because we can't see something doesn't mean it doesn't exist."

"Not only does the crazy girl believe in you," Ernie Macmillan strode over and said loudly, "I believe in you too, Aris, Harry. Our whole family is a staunch supporter of Professor Dumbledore."

Ernie MacMillan is the head of Hufflepuff House. The way he expressed his thoughts in public made Seamus' face changeable.

Aris shook hands with Ernie and said sincerely, "Thank you, Ernie. I will be your best friend forever."

Ernie nodded. "Cedric believes in you too. He's just too busy with his studies. In order to deal with NEWTs, he even almost resigned as Quidditch captain. But you are definitely not alone in dealing with the You-Know-Who!" After that, Ernie left with his head held high.

Although Harry didn't say anything, his expression looked much better.

Professor Sprout also talked about the importance of OWls. exams and then left a lot of homework before get out of class ended.

In the following days, Professor Umbridge thought of various ways to punish Aries, but they were all cleverly resolved by Aries. Some of them even caused the old toad to suffer great losses, until a week later.

Aris knocked politely on Professor Umbridge's office door. After Professor Umbridge opened the door, she stared at Aris viciously.

Aris just put on an expression of a good student. Professor Umbridge handed Aris a scroll of parchment. "Go and give this to Professor McGonagall," Professor Umbridge said fiercely, "Get out of here..."

With a "bang", the door closed again. Aeris observed the parchment in his hand and sealed it with magic. Aeris shrugged his shoulders.

If Aries wanted to open it, it would be easy, but Aries didn't want to read the contents inside. Instead, he paced towards Professor McGonagall's office.
