The next morning, when Su Jinru woke up, she found that Yuan Wenjie was already up and dressed.
She tried to get up, but Yuan Wenjie pressed her down.
"You can sleep a little longer, I'll make breakfast."
"Didn't we agree to do it together?"
"Breakfast is simple, I can manage on my own. Mom was worried that it would be too much trouble for us to make breakfast in the morning, so she steamed some buns last night. All I need to do is cook some porridge. For lunch and dinner, you'll have a chance to show off your skills."

Yuan Wenjie went downstairs. Su Jinru lay down for a while, but couldn't fall asleep, so she got up.
After washing up downstairs, everyone in the family got up.
Mr. and Mrs. Luo are both early risers; they wake up on time and it's become a habit.
Anran and Anxin are the same; they've always gone to bed early and woken up early since they were little.
Yuan Wenjie's porridge was ready, and the steamed buns were in the steamer. As soon as the steamer was opened, they were steaming hot. Su Jinru felt that her life now was like these steaming hot buns: warm, simple, and satisfying.
The family sat together to eat breakfast.
We were eating when Luo's three grandsons arrived.
With both parents at work, the child was bored at home, so he came to his grandparents' house.

As they spoke, each of the three children took a steamed bun.
The house instantly became lively.
The children were discussing in the living room where they wanted to take Anran and Anxin to play.

Su Jinru planned to go out to buy groceries after dinner. Saying she was going to buy groceries was actually a smokescreen. She needed to come up with a reasonable excuse to take the groceries out of her spatial storage. Suddenly taking so many things out of the house would scare people.
So she could only make an excuse to go out to buy groceries and bring them back from outside, but if she didn't take her two children with her when she went out, she was worried that they would feel neglected.
Because she and Yuan Wenjie didn't bring them along when they visited Old Master Hong the day before.
Bringing them to this far place and keeping them locked up at home all day is a bit unreasonable, but she can't let the two children know that she's taking things out of her spatial dimension.

Su Jinru said to her parents-in-law, "Dad, Mom, after dinner, A-Jie and I are going out to buy groceries. In the next few days, you two can go out and chat with old friends or go shopping. A-Jie and I will cook at home and invite my eldest brother and second brother's families over for dinner tonight."
Jiang Yuting smiled and said, "It's so kind of you to be so filial, so we'll go out and visit some friends."
Yuan Wenjie: "Yes! It's Chinese New Year, so we should visit our old friends."
After the meal, Jiang Yuting took out some of the kelp, seaweed, and dried fish that Su Jinru and the others had brought, saying she would take them to visit friends.
